From May 5th to May 13th, 2024, the BK-LUPIC team visited Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic for a business trip spanning 7 nights and 9 days.

- 5th International Nursing Forum 2024

The forum was held at the conference hall of Kyrgyz National Medical University in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, focusing on enhancing the capacity and professional status of Kyrgyz Republic nurses under the theme 'The Competent Nurse: Partnering with Physicians for Excellence'.

- Faculty Development Program

This program spanned 3 days: Day 1 involved understanding the overall status of nursing education at Kyrgyz National Medical University, Day 2 included discussions on developing clinical practice guidelines, and Day 3 featured a leadership enhancement program for BK-LUPIC team members and faculty from KSMA Nursing Department.

- KSMA Nursing Department New Building Inauguration Ceremony

The new building at Kyrgyz National Medical University in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic was inaugurated.

- Stakeholder Meetings

Meetings were held with stakeholders including the Kyrgyz National Medical University leadership, Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Health, Kyrgyz Republic Nursing Policy Division, Kyrgyz Republic E-Health Center, and KOICA Kyrgyzstan Office. Discussions focused on assessing progress across five project areas and planning for the future.

- Monitoring and Evaluation

We conducted internal monitoring and evaluation of the ongoing project on fostering international cooperation leading universities, assessing its appropriateness, feasibility, and effectiveness. This helped identify improvement needs and development strategies to enhance overall project outcomes.
