The child health promotion project aimed to support a child health promotion and also to ensure a healthy and happy life for
all in Kyrgyz Republic. We have worked to enhance the level of child health promotion services in migrant village areas through
resident participation and the development of the skills of healthcare professionals.

Goals

Development of child health promotion service system
  • • Developed a child health promotion service manual, including child health screening tools, and have built an MCS to effectively use it
  • • Organized Parent Leader group to promote children's health by connecting parents and nurses of the healthcare center
  • • Established a child health promotion center to hold activities
    for chiild health promotion, where medical staff and residents
    are conducting various activities
Strengthening the potential of healthcare professionals
  • • Training was conducted on the topic of child health, parenting environment, and medical service for community health workers
  • • Through academic exchanges with the Nursing department in Bishkek, participation in child health promotion services, and connection with practical educational institutions,
    we have created a virtuous cycle of strengthening the capacity
    of the health and medical personnel
Strengthening community participation capabilities
  • • In order to inspire residents ' understanding and awareness of child health issues, we have activated public and private resources to help them engage in and have the capacity to digest ongoing child health promotion activities themselves
  • • We have established a community-based operating organization and expanded the scope of beneficiaries through awareness improvement activities for child health and increased the participation
    of residents in voluntary health promotion activities
