Nursing Education Reform: Multi-Level System of Education
On July 10, 2024, BK-LUPIC conducted a seminar to develop ways to advance and reform the higher nursing education in the Kyrgyz Republic by improving understanding and consensus on nursing degree plans and professional standards with stakeholders from Ministry of Health(Dolonbeava Zuura) and Ministry of Education(Alynbekova Susarkul)
We discussed the status of BSN evaluation, future direction of the Accelerated program(RN to BSN program), Master and PhD programs in nursing. Development of the Healthcare SQF and professional standards for “Registered nurses” were also discussed.
